Book-A-Month

We meet on the last Sunday of the month to discuss a book that we have read. Meetings are held in the Rectory.

Our next meeting will be March 29th at 6:30 pm. Our March book to discuss will be “The Fourth Cup” by Scott Hahn. The Fourth Cup is a look at the Last Supper and Passion of Jesus and elaborates how those two events are so closely connected. Our book for April will be “The Woman in the Trees” by Theoni Bell. The Woman in the Trees is a historical fiction novel that uses real events and Catholic devotion to weave a story of faith and pioneer life amid family hardship, fire, love, and loss that uses the United State's’ first Church approved Marian Apparition in Champion, Wisconsin as part of its story.

Knights of Columbus

The Knights of Columbus is the world’s largest Catholic fraternal organization, founded in 1882 by Father Michael J. McGivney to provide financial aid to members and their families and to perform charitable works. The organization’s mission is based on the principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism. Today, it serves its communities through activities like community meals, parish events, and financial support to Catholic institutions. Membership is limited to practicing Catholic men.

St. Stephen in Exeter and St. Wenceslaus in Milligan, together with St. Joseph in Friend, make up Council #11822. If you would be interested in joining our group, you can contact us here.
